Taitara Mahi – Business Support (Fixed Term, 6 Months)
Fixed-term, full-time

We’re looking for an organised and capable Business Support Officer to join our Planning and Regulatory Group on a six-month fixed-term basis.

This role provides administrative and clerical support across the group, helping teams stay on track, meet timeframes and keep key processes running smoothly.

What you’ll be doing

• Providing day-to-day administrative support across Planning & Regulatory
• Processing statutory and legal documentation within required timeframes
• Creating invoices, processing claims, issuing refunds and tracking payments
• Preparing and maintaining documents, registers and databases
• Supporting teams during peak workloads and priority periods

Ōu wheako – about you
To be successful in this role you will have:

• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Word
• Good organisation and time management skills
• A collaborative, can-do approach
• Confidence working in a busy, deadline-driven environment
• Positive interpersonal skills and a good sense of humour

This is a great opportunity to step into a short-term role, build experience across the group and support important Council work already underway.
