Welcome to Heretaunga, the area renowned for its rich and fertile landscape that is sustained by its life-giving dews and waterways. We have two roles available from early December through until approximately January / February 2025.

Below is a brief outline of what each role will be doing and which team the work is in during this time:

Public Spaces:

• Assisting Public Spaces Asset Management to improve asset database
• Gathering data on Park Assets
• Gather data on Park Users
• Data entry
• Audit parks and public spaces and check for completion of works
• Provide technology assistance to contractor
• Condition grade park assets
•  Other public space operations activities

3 Waters:

• Working with our Hydraulic model, IPS, As-Built and SCADA
• Verify the asset/modelling data and cross reference with different data sources.
• Catch up the as-built spatial database and fill any gaps
• Create manual to update the database.
• Further develop the “SCADA tag lookup table”
• Some data analysis 
• Data collection - field investigation, field monitoring.
  • Filed investigation to verify the asset data (e.g. connectivity and depth)
