Taitara Mahi – Health, Safety & Wellbeing Coordinator
Are you looking to take the next step in your Health, Safety & Wellbeing career?
This is an intermediate level role, so we are seeking a professional with at least two years’ hands-on experience in a Health, Safety & Wellbeing role and a recognised qualification.
We would like to have someone join our team who is passionate about Health, Safety & Wellbeing and can ‘hit the ground running’. You will be rewarded with constant learning opportunities, working within a close knit, fun and supportive team.
Reporting to the Health, Safety & Wellbeing Manager, you will be supporting Council’s Managers with day-to-day management of Health, Safety & Wellbeing risks, engaging with staff and contractors to promote Health, Safety and Wellbeing initiatives, undertaking site audits and inspections, and delivering hands on training.
You will need excellent communication and influencing skills, experience with risk management processes, developing procedures, undertaking investigations and audits, and writing reports, with a proven record of achievement, drive, and initiative.
This position is a permanent fulltime role. There is also a rostered after-hours on-call requirement.
