Taitara Mahi - Flaxmere Community Centre Coordinator
Fixed-term, part-time

Flaxmere Community Centre is in the heart of Flaxmere. It's a great venue for our community to have fun, work out and come together through quality programmes and services.

We are currently on the lookout for a Community Centre Coordinator to join the team. In this fixed-term part-time role, you will work to help us continue to increase participation at the Flaxmere Community Centre through networking and offering a wide range of programmes as identified by the Flaxmere Community. This role is part of a collaborative facility team which provides a high standard of customer service to the community while ensuring that the facility is a safe and enjoyable environment that can be enjoyed by all, so a genuine passion and commitment to the people of Flaxmere and local knowledge of the community is essential.

This is a fixed-term, part-time position to cover parental leave and the hours are Monday to Friday 9am – 2.30pm.

The successful candidate will have: 

• Knowledge or experience working in communities.
• Initiative and be able to work in a team environment.
• An understanding and respect for Flaxmere Community.
