The staff of the Hastings District Cemetery & Crematorium are a compassionate and dedicated team committed to providing respectful and dignified services to our community. Our Cemeteries and Crematorium are places of solace and remembrance, and we strive to maintain them with the utmost care and professionalism. We are seeking an empathetic and experienced Cemetery and Crematorium Manager to lead the team.
As Cemetery and Crematorium Manager, you will be reponsible for:
- Staff Management
- Customer Service / Public Relations
- Asset and Financial Management
- Administration & Record Keeping

To be successful in this role you will:
- Have extensive experience in Cemetery and Crematorium operations - including a sound understanding of the Cremation and Burial Act 1964
- Have strong leadership skills
- Have experience in managing staff
- Be empathetic, with a pleasant outgoing personality and strong decision-making skills
- Have the ability to manage budgets effectively and a deep understanding of the sensitive nature of our work
