Taitara Mahi - Finance Analyst

The Hastings District Council Finance team is committed to delivering exceptional financial services across all parts of Council. We have a supportive and diverse team of professionals to whom we offer the opportunity to take ownership of their roles and encourage working together to solve problems in the most effective way.  

We are currently seeking a talented Finance Analyst to join our team.  This is a full-time position where you will play a key role in providing analysis to various activities around Council, with insights gained through the use of modelling and analysis tools.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• An accounting qualification along with membership of CAANZ or equivalent.
• Proven relevant finance or accounting experience 
• Experience in business intelligence systems, data visualisation, and their application
• Strong analytical abilities. 
• A strong customer service focus and a problem-solving outlook.

This role is part of the Finance & Procurement Group.
