Taitara Mahi - Transportation Drainage Asset Engineer

Hastings District Council manages a 1640 kilometre roading network, with 535 kilometres of footpaths and 260 bridges. We are currently looking for a Transportation Drainage Asset Engineer to effectively manage drainage across our network.
As Transportation Drainage Asset Engineer you will identify, plan and manage the delivery of Road drainage projects including resilience improvements.

- Technical Support
- Contract Management
- Financial Management
- Relationship Management

To be successful in this role you will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Asset Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in transportation asset management.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in asset management planning and forward works programming.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and industry best practices.
